Devoted followers of the pop star are calling for that a individual who leaped a fence and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared clip reveals the Australian man shoving aside photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was due to appear on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram profile contains videos of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last December.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Many fans accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Many of fans had gathered in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had waited for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be launched on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-part version of the popular theatrical show Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely bond between two contrasting sorceresses.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of the previous year in the UK, and received 10 Oscar nominations, securing two for best costume and artistic direction.
