Wilfried Nancy stated he had no concerns about dismissal, claiming, “The team is very near to changing our fortunes,” even after edging perilously close to the exit with a heavy setback against the Ibrox side.

“The level we had at certain moments was of top quality. This is the reality. I could not talk like that if it was untrue. Therefore, regarding outcomes, I mentioned it's a repeating pattern. That’s why I said that we are nearly there to getting it right. But for the moment: details, details, details.”
“We produced many, many good things that we did, once more. But now comes down to performing for 90 minutes. My message would be different if it was not the case. Therefore I firmly believe we will manage to turn things around.”
Röhl’s Cautious Stance
The victorious boss was cautious about a serious challenge despite what seemed like a statement victory. “One match at a time, so we can develop something here,” he said. “The belief in the squad is immense.”
